Girls Garage Projects

Girls Garage is a Non-Profit Arts Education Organization founded by Emily Pilloton. Hallie, along with Allison Oropallo and Emily, is the instructor for the Advanced Design Build Course and produces the designs for the projects for the course (with input from the students and instructors). In 2018, the students built a Parklet for a local business in North Berkeley. In 2019, the students built a Chicken Coop, Run, and Shade structure for Urban Tilth, a non-profit urban farm producing and delivering fresh produce to hundreds of families in North Richmond. In 2020, the students built weatherproof enclosures for the Mutual Aid Network, Town Fridge, to help communities share resources and feed themselves.
